Australian magicians have united to form the Australian Institute of Magic - AIM - the only organisation in the Oceania region affiliated with the International Federation of Magic Societies - FISM (Federation Internationale des Societes Magiques).
FISM represents the highest world standards in magic and conducts The World Championships of Magic every three years. AIM is designed to be your ultimate resource for all things magic. It's members are quality entertainers with excellent business ethics and a great love for the art of magic. The Institute is a resource for research, a home for magic schools, a source of news from around the world, a place with products to buy and magic shows to attend. AIM is in it’s beginning stages of development and will continue to grow, providing invaluable services for Australia on an international scale. It is already a trusted source of information and business for international clients and magicians. Enjoy your tour of the Australian Institute of Magic. - Sue-Anne Webster

Tip #32 - Never leave someone stranded |

This may not be a revelation to the majority of AIM members, but some new-comers may find it a helpful note to remember. One of my policies I’ve picked up over the years has been to never leave a potential client stranded without an entertainer for a party. I’m not talking about not showing up after they have booked you for a gig – no-one I know (and respect) would even think of that. I’m referring to those times when a customer calls you to book a gig and you already have a clashing booking. I know of some entertainers – particularly (and surprisingly) in the children’s arena – who simply leave the caller with a ‘so sorry – good luck’. Bad move. Bad. Naughty entertainer. |

Hello friends A friend that loves, cares and respects their doves, is a friend of mine. Often when performing dove magic, at the conclusion of my performance I will always have some audience members come up to see my doves and they are fascinated and pleased to see how good they look and always comment on how they can see they are well looked after by their owner. |

Being a Stage Hypnotist is one of the best jobs in the entertainment industry. Think about it. People do not really pay to come and see the Hypnotist.
